1. About These Terms
These terms govern your use of plug-insolar.co.uk and any order or reservation placed through it. By using this website or placing an order or reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Who Operates the Website and Who Sells the Products
plug-insolar.co.uk is operated by Plug In Battery Ltd (company number 17134171), trading as Plug-In Solar. Plug-In Solar acts as a sales agent for PowerXpress LTD. Products ordered through this website are sold and fulfilled by PowerXpress LTD, Unit 1, Kelpatrick Road, Slough, SL1 6BW, United Kingdom. VAT number GB516323220. Your contract for the purchase of goods is with PowerXpress LTD.

Terms of Sale (PowerXpress LTD)
Sections 3 to 10 are the terms of sale between you and PowerXpress LTD as the seller. The Shipping & Delivery Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy on this website also form part of PowerXpress LTD's terms of sale. Sections 11 to 15 are website terms set by Plug In Battery Ltd.
3. Products
This website offers plug-in solar products, plug-in batteries and related accessories. Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided in good faith. Availability and delivery status are shown on the relevant product and checkout pages.
4. Pricing
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. PowerXpress LTD may change prices before an order is placed. The price confirmed at checkout applies to your order.
5. Orders and Reservations
Placing an order or reservation through this website is an offer to purchase from PowerXpress LTD. PowerXpress LTD accepts the order or reservation when confirmation is issued. PowerXpress LTD may decline or cancel it if a product is unavailable, pricing is incorrect, or payment cannot be verified. Reservations require no payment unless the checkout clearly states otherwise; payment is requested before dispatch.
6. Payment
Payments are made directly to PowerXpress LTD and processed securely by Stripe. Plug-In Solar does not receive or hold the customer's payment for the goods. The order confirmation and receipt identify PowerXpress LTD as the seller.
7. Delivery
PowerXpress LTD fulfils and dispatches orders. Please refer to the Shipping & Delivery Policy for full details. Delivery and dispatch times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
8. Your Rights to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from delivery to cancel your order. PowerXpress LTD handles cancellations, returns and refunds. Please see the Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
9. Warranty
Eligible products come with the manufacturer's warranty stated on the relevant product page or documentation. Manufacturer warranties are separate from your statutory rights. PowerXpress LTD handles product support and warranty claims in the first instance.
10. Limitation of Liability
PowerXpress LTD is responsible as seller for the supply and fulfilment of the goods. Plug In Battery Ltd is responsible for operating this website and for its own marketing content. Neither party excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
11. Savings Estimates
Energy savings figures provided on this website (including via our savings calculator) are estimates only, based on typical UK energy tariffs and usage patterns. Actual savings will vary based on your individual circumstances, energy usage, tariff, and installation.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Plug-In Solar and is protected by UK intellectual property laws.
13. Affiliate Program
The Plug-In Solar affiliate programme is operated by Plug In Battery Ltd and is open to anyone aged 18 or over with a valid UK bank account — you do not need to be a customer to participate. Affiliate rewards are paid by Plug In Battery Ltd and do not alter the product price or the customer's contract with PowerXpress LTD. By signing up at /affiliate/signup you agree to the following:
- Commission: You earn £50 (GBP) for every qualifying customer order placed through your unique referral link. The referred customer also receives £50 off their order.
- Attribution: Referrals are tracked via your unique link with a 90-day attribution window from the click.
- Qualifying order: A referral is considered earned once the referred customer has paid for the product and it has been successfully delivered to them. Cancelled, refunded or returned orders do not qualify, and any commission already accrued in respect of such orders may be reversed.
- Payment terms: Affiliate commission is paid by bank transfer into a UK bank account nominated by you, within 45 days of the product being delivered to the customer who placed the original order. We do not pay commission to overseas accounts, PayPal, or other payment methods.
- Self-referral: You may not refer yourself or use your own referral link to purchase products. Such referrals will be void.
- Conduct: You must not misrepresent Plug-In Solar, spam, use paid search ads bidding on our brand terms, or promote your link in any unlawful, misleading, or deceptive way. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any affiliate account for breach of these terms and to withhold any unpaid commission accrued through such breach.
- Tax: You are responsible for declaring affiliate earnings to HMRC and for any tax due on them.
- Changes & termination: We may change the commission amount, attribution window, or program terms at any time, or close the program, on reasonable notice. Commission already earned at the time of any change will be honoured under the terms in force when it was earned.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
